Description This fashionably dressed doll is made from wood with a painted face. It wears an open gown of printed cotton, a matching printed cotton petticoat, a green silk hoop petticoat, a patterned linen under-petticoat and a green silk stomacher. Under its gown and petticoat and over its hoop, the doll wears a single pocket made from the same printed cotton as the gown and petticoat. The neatly sewn pocket has a vertical opening and tape to tie around the waist.
