Description This painting is a copy after a painting by Jordaens entitled 'As the Old Sang, So the Young Pipe', now in the Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp, or rather from a print of that painting, as the composition is reversed. Representing three different generations, the company are seated around a richly laid table playing music under the direction of an old man.
