Description The patient sits to the right with his injured foot bared and resting on a stool. The surgeon, to the left, kneels on the ground as he applies a dressing to the wound. His instruments and salves are on the ground between the two. Meanwhile, behind a counter, a woman stands ready with a further dressing. To the left a man is entering by an open door.
