Description To the left are three tall trees with dense woodland behind. The right is a more open prospect towards a distant hill. In foreground a young woman kneels, milking a cow. A second woman stands with back to viewer balancing a large container on her head; steadying it with her left hand and with a jug in her right hand. A second cow is kneeling beneath the foreground trees and to the right are four sheep.
