Acquisition Details Bequeathed by Jane A.G. Lady Cory 1947.
Notes Label on back 'Lady Cory 7m2'. Lady Cory of 28 Belgrave Square directed her Trustees to offer some of the paintings to any 'Picture Gallery that may be short of pictures and would care for them.' The Trustees chose the Dover Museum and this painting, together with some more, entered the collection in 1947.
