|Biography||1908: Born in Harrow.
Taught painting at the Schools of Art in Oxford, and later Barnstaple and Bideford.
1939-44: Served as Aircraft Inspector in Bristol and Oxford.
1944: Taught at Norwich School of Art, where he remained until his retirement in 1971
Founding member of the Norwich Twenty Group and the Norfolk Contemporary Art Society.
