Technique hand-weaving
Process Yarn: medium Z singles, Z singles, plyed S linen Warp and weft: Natural and yellow (weld) yarn. Spaced warp. 9 e.p.i. (open, singles). 12-14 p.p.i. (plyed). Weave: plain and basket weave. Warp stripes of natural and open and close weave (the wide stripes include fine 2-end stripes of yellow). Weft-wise: wide borders of checked open weave and close weave with some yellow picks. Central area: predominantly open weave rectangles, separated by bands of close weave. Squares of basket weave at the intersections.
