|Title||Baggage Reclaim ŽALŽ|
|Approach||conceptual via screen print|
|Description||Returning home via Stansted Airport to Belfast City Airport I was asked to use the appropriate security x-ray scanner, which for the first time gave me a glimpse into the contents of my luggage.
Seeing this I was struck first by its beauty and on further consideration wondered could the contents of ones luggage reflect the owner?
The work was specifically screen printed onto perspex to parallel the original x-ray image and so the viewer sees through the work, seeing through the bag to see the baggage we carry in several senses, which renders our own internal baggage public.
