This miniature shows the Holy Family including the new born Jesus (as idenified by the cross in his halo), the Virgin Mary, St.John (and Joseph?), halos, robed female, scrolls, book, lectern, temple. Partial black gothic script and musical notation on red staves with decorative gold dot motif (which would suggest Bologna as a place of origin).
