Notes In portfolio with items F.130.1-4, F.131.1-3, F.132.1-2, these are the Goldsmiths' Hall designs, made between 1882 and 1884. The date given to this drawing relates to the fact that it came as part of a V&A gift which includes not only the Goldsmiths' designs (the dates of which are certain), but also a number of other drawings (F.133-137) which were probably made between 1880 and 1882 (on either the Pugin tour of the West Country 1881, or the two Soane tours of North France in 1880 and 1882).
Object Notes Unlabelled plan, probably unfinished (though it may have just been a rough idea or an exercise for Lethaby). Note also the small rough drawing of lamp or candle at the bottom left.
