Notes This was designed by Lethaby for Stanmore house; the contract to design all the wood furnishings and five fireplaces was handed to him by William Morris (c.1890).
Object Notes Shows a front elevation and perspective sketch of a carving table (designed for Stanmore Hall, as title). This is probably the contract drawing (to which the client would either say yes or "start again"). A carving table with a decoratively inlaid pattern on the legs and a shelf half way between the table top and the ground.
