Object Notes The inferred date (and indeed the purpose) of this design are due to the rather naturalistic motif, the scene from nature. This scene features a deer, which also appears in other designs of the late 80s-early 90s, particularly in the designs for Stanmore Hall. Lethaby did design all the woodwork for Stanmore Hall aswell as five chimneypieces / fireplaces. ObjectItem.Notes and specifications in Lethaby's hand.
