Material Pencil on thick green paper.
Notes Attributed to Lethaby, recalling the style and attention to detail (perhaps as an exercise of self education) found in his drawings of Haddon Hall and Duffield Hall (c.1878-79). A similar style can also be found in his drawings of Chartres in the early 1880s.
Object Notes Shows arch, supports and the plinth or top of a column. Observational drawing which picks out particular details of interest. Verso - Several small sketches of sculptures, plates/salvers, busts and urns etc. which seem to be displayed on shelves or a sideboard of some description.
