Description The barn pictured is not directly referred to in the article. However in the Worcestershire collection is a photograph of the Berkshire cruciform barn, it was on the previous page of that issue of Country Life. The text in the article here indicates that a wagon and three horses can turn around in the cruciform barn. It's size is comparable with Westminster Hall. Other large barns are in England are then listed, some of which were used as meeting places for Parliament, notably the one at Acton Burnell in Shropshire.
