Description The tallest hill in the landscape is called Criggion which is in the Breiddon Forest in Montgomery (now Powys), Wales. On top of Criggion, at 1500 feet, is Rodney's Pillar, a monument to Admiral Rodney. The pillar was built by public subscription to celebrate the defeat of the French fleet in Dominica using ships built of Powysland Oak.
