Description The dovecot had space for 3,600 broods, Carr declares it one of the most interesting buildings in Britain. It was built c.1580 from roughly dressed course stone with very little mortar, it still stood 4 centuries later. This, the church and fishponds are all that remain of the Tresham family mansion, a place where it is aid that the Gunpowder Plot meetings were held.
