Description A wooded landscape with river and three figures, painted in a loose, sketchy way, and with cool palette. The old wooden backboard bears a carved inscription 'L. v. UDEN', and another carving on the frame reads 'Brill' - it was probably once believed that the landscape may have been painted by Paul Bril, Paul (Flemish painter, 1554-1626, active in Rome).
