Description This field of green corn with a figure, and roof tops among the trees beyond is by Marie Cazin (née Guillet), a French painter, sculptor and decorative artist and wife of the artist Jean Charles Cazin. From 1876 she exhibited at the Salon in Paris, at first as a painter of the landscapes, and starting from 1882 as a sculptor. In the 1890s her art moved towards Symbolism; YORAG : 462 seems to be an earlier painting, influenced by the Impressionists.
