Description Evening jacket, the shape has been dictated by the design of the Shell Spiral print. The whole jacket is padded with quilting in satin stitch, the hems and cuffs are in padded pink satin.

In the book: Zandra Rhodes a lifelong love affair with textiles (Monsef et al 2005) the jacket is shown on a mannequin front (p. 48) and back (p.49) as well as in a line drawing (p.50).

The shape of this jacket influenced later quilted jackets, including 85/128, and a jacket in the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection seen as part of the Zandra Rhodes Retrospective catwalk show at Paris fashion week.
