Description Postcard, printed, cardboard, black text and image, white ground, Artists' Suffrage League illustration of a suffragette addressing the Chancellor to question him about the spending of taxes, Chancellor seated behind desk with bags of money on it surrounded by policemen, printed inscription front: 'Taxation without Representation. The Retort Courteous. Woman Taxpayer. 'I wish to speak to you, sir, about the spending of my money.' Chancellor of the Exchequer. 'Madam, all you have to do is pay.'
