Barron and Larcher
Dandilion, Border, Small captain
2001.1.28

Undaunted Barron enlisted the help of various friends, to print all day and cut blocks at night, and several months later had completed the job down to the cushions. Small Captain (No. 1) was the design chosen by the Captain to furnish his own cabin. Subsequently, in 1926 when the Duke replaced this yacht with another one, confusingly also called Flying Cloud and fitted with the architectural salvage of her predecessor, Barron and Larcher were asked to supply additional furnishings and upholstery for it in 1927-8.
