Jim Malone

No 44: Bowl, undated 1980s (P.84.10)

The form of this flared bowl is particularly suited to decoration. It is made in thrown porcelain into which three dragonflies have been incised in a repeating pattern around the inside. The bowl is glazed in a very pale green celadon and requires no other decoration. Jim Malone also works in stoneware with ash glazes.
