Assignments Introduction

This section of the website contains two assignments related to the information contained in this module. The aim of the assignments is to help you understand and assimilate the theoretical information that has been presented and, to incorporate it into your practice as a designer.
In each case there is a downloadable PDF file containing the project task, together with background information and guidance for further reading. These files are designed to be printer friendly. You will need to open them in an application such as Adobe Acrobat and either save them to disc, or print as many copies as you require.
You will be able to undertake these projects using the information contained in the website, in some cases supplementing this with your own appropriate source material. You may tackle these projects as discrete exercises or, ideally, carry them out in the sequence specified. This progression through the tasks is intended to move you from a historical and theoretical perspective through to a studio-based practical perspective.
