Material	Pencil, pen and black ink with some yellow (pencil?) heightening onthin tracing paper.
Notes	The rose motif which appears here on the design for the side elevation, is remarkably similar to a stone rubbing made by Lethaby on one of his earlier trips to Europe or the West Country (early 1880s) - see F.136. This was almost certainly designed by Lethaby for Stanmore house; the contract to design all the wood furnishings and five fireplaces was handed to him by William Morris.
Object Notes	(Unfinished) sheet of design details for a bookcase with notes and dimensions in Lethaby's hand. Displays what appears to be a side elevation (in pencil) and an unfinished (or working) elevation of the front. Featuring "flower" motifs and various other details. Interesting rose motif (see main details).
