| Notes | Designed for Eagle Star Insurance building, 1900. There is also a rough sketch for a desk with in-built drawers on the verso; this must have been drawn with the Eagle Insurance Company building in mind. | |
| Object Notes | Sketched designs for a chair with a padded seat and back rest Front elevation, perspective view and details. ObjectItem.Notes in Lethaby's hand. Padded back rest stitched in diamond shapes with the letters "EC" and the date "1900", which would presumably have been tooled or embroidered onto the leather. Detail of the studs piercing the leather and wood to hold it secure (cross section). Drawing on the verso looks like it may be a very rough design for a desk with in-built drawers (also for the Eagle Insurance buliding presumably). | |
