Notes	Probably from the same book/manuscript as F.43. Good example of a zoomorphic border decoration (a border inhabited or decorated with animals/beasts). Exhibits the finely detailed qualities of 15th century Parisian illumination. This would have originally been part of the Central School's Teaching Examples Collection.
Object Notes	Manuscript fragment which would have originally been part of a border decoration surrounding a body of text. This particular border may be from a Book of Hours. Inhabited (zoomorphic) foliate border, overpainting and stylised dot motifs; inhabited by a peacock. Overall, an exotic illumination, the richness of pattern and colour matching the quality of craftsmanship.
