Notes Signed 'Debut', pseudonym of W.R. Lethaby. Published in The Building News, vol. 32 (1878-79). Made for The Building News Designing Club Competition. Lethaby entered 19 drawings in all, 17 of which were published in The Building News, all of which are present in the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design Special Collection. Lethaby won the competition, being awarded first place in the January of 1878.
Object Notes Full - "A Dining Room showing Door and Buffet", an architectural design which shows only one view (an elevation) and a scale in feet and inches.Labelled with the figure "1" and signed with the Debut pseudonym.(NOTE: sheet has been cropped and so is smaller than original size).
