A casket with a hinged rectangular lid, four integral feet and intricate moulded decoration. It is most likely that this compression moulded phenol formaldehyde box was designed for storing cigarettes in the 1930s or 1940s. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection. |
