Description	Hand-woven jacket with long sleeves, collar, two pockets, and four round buttons with looped buttonholes. Weft stripes of varying width in red, blue, yellow, green and dark brown. The collar, front opening and cuffs are edged in bands of indigo.

History	The hand-woven fabric of the jacket was exhibited as a length in the Paris International exhibition of 1925. It was subsequently exhibited at the Three Shields Gallery in London and bought by Muriel Rose circa 1924. The length was made into a jacket under the direction of Ethel Mairet. The buttons were made by Ethel Mairet's brother Frederick Partridge.
