Done in connection with the Roman Baths Museum. Comissioned by Roy Worskett, the architect. He wanted a blown up photo of this poem (about 7ft high), so I did the art-work from which the large panel was made and a poster. It was done deliberately on roughish paper so that the letters had rather ragged edges, as to enlarge to such a scale they would have had ragged edges anyway, so better that it looked mean. The vellum piece was done for myself from the poster. (Ann Hechle) |
