Salary Scale: Lecturers:£1,875 to £2,140. In assessing the starting salary allowance may be given for appropriate experience. The successful candidates may be assisted with removal expenses. City of Portsmouth Education Committee Portsmouth College of Art and Design Applications are invited for the following appointments in the School of Design: Head of Fashion required from January 1967, ores soon after as possible, to be responsible for the direction and organisation of the three-year full time course leading to the Regional Diploma in Design. The course which is accommodated in a new building and is mainly concerned with dress and textiles, offers scope for immediate development to DipAD standard. Senior Lecturer in Visual Communications (film and television) required as soon as possible.
Salaries for the above posts in accordance with the Scales of Salaries for Teachers in Establishments of Further Education for Senior Lecturers: £2,140 - £2,380 per annum. City of Carlisle College of Art and Design Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design required to control and develop a progressive Department of Graphic Design and a three-year full-time College Diploma course in Publicity Design which culminates in the assessment for direct admission to the SIA. The person appointed must have professional experience in one or more aspects of advertising and publicity and preferably be a member or Fellow of the SIA.
