Liverpool College of Art
Professional Courses in Industrial Design (DipDes L'pool). Commencing September 1966, the School of Industrial Design will offer a three - year full - time course in Ceramics Design, and in association with the University School of Architecture, Interior Design, leading to the award of the DipDes (L'pool). The course will provide a full and progressive training in professional design disciplines and knowledge, and are organised principally for students intending ultimately to enter professional practice as designers. Suitable applicants should be aged not less than 18, should have 6 GCE Certificates (with at least 2 'A' level) including English and Mathematics or an appropriate Science subject, and should have completed successfully a suitable one-year full-time course of pre - diploma studies. Successful applicants will be required to attend the College for examination and interview.
Liverpool College of Art

Students completing it satisfactorily will be ideally prepared as candidates for admission to diploma courses in Industrial Design at Liverpool or elsewhere. Loughborough, Leicestershire (University Designate) Postgraduate course in ergonomics and cybernetics. Applications are invited for the one year full - time course in ergonomics and cybernetics which starts 1 October 1966. The course is intended for: 1 Engineers, architects and designers of all types of equipment 2 Graduates or diplomates in the social, biological or physical sciences who wish to enter the fields of ergonomics and cybernetics.
